Signed: "Copyright by Frederic Remington", this excellent lost wax casting of Remington's "Wooly Chaps" (sometimes know as "Bronco Buster) is striking. Points of note include free moving stirrup, hat brim up, hollow eyes, ears back, and unmistakable right patina and fine detail of the artistry in the casting are all consistent with the Henry-Bonnard Bronze Company period of Remington castings in the 1890s - not to be confused with later Roman Bronze Works castings or later unauthorized less quality castings. Dimensions: 19" high X 20" wide X 6.5" deep - 37 lbs without marble base. (Marble base with title and artist plate included.)
