This 100% Authentic, Original, Perfectly Intact and Repair-Free Antique Chinese Ewer is a stunning and wonderful example of the Celadon Porcelain Ceramics (specifically Qingbai aka Yingqing Celadon in this Case, denoting a calm and light greenish/blue-grey colored glaze, setting it apart from the more blue and green varieties such as those from the Kilns known for making Longquan or Yaozhou Celadon Ceramics) created during China's famous Song (Sung) Dynasty 960-1279 CE who were the innovators of the incredibly beautiful family of Celadon Ceramics known across the world, which were extremely popular while being made at the height of the Original Celadon Wares during the Song, Yuan, and Ming Dynasties; also continuing to be made throughout the later Qing Dynasty and are still being made across China today in modern times. The Kiln Masters of the Song Dynasty inspired the arts of countless other cultures, such as the very fine glazed ceramics of the Korean Contemporaries of the Song, the Goryeo Dynasty of Korea.

The ewer available here is a perfect example of the soft Qingbai Celadon Ware created by the Song Dynasty of Imperial China 1000 years ago. The immaculate condition of this piece is quite impressive considering its age of about 700-1,000 years. The lobed or fluted melon-like body is typical of the period, as is the flared arched spout and the small hollow roll at the top of the long, slender strap handle with 2 small notches at its base; the handle's detailed line work design then continuing and flowing down the globular body almost to the very bottom of the ewer in the most exquisite detail. A truly stunning piece of Song Ceramics.
