As belt-hooks go, this is possibly the finest example we have ever seen or handled. Ancient China, Warring States Period, Ca 475 to 221 BC. Made of bronze, inlaid with a fine silver wire, small gold "dots and scrolls" and blue-green turquoise in beautiful geometric pattern. Large example measuring 7-1/2"L x 1-1/8"W. Possible repair to "hook" and a few missing pieces of turquoise, else quite excellent and rare to find this nice!
