Persian bronze figure "Amulet-pendent" of a goat, Dated from, 900 - 600 BC This delightful little object may be a votive, the simple gift of someone who wished to offer a goat to the god but could afford only this small sculpture to stand in its place. The sculpture has proved a most durable gift after all.
