The yellow-marbled nude torso with small breasts and a long tress hanging down her left shoulder, her left shoulder slightly raised indicating that her weight would have been on her right leg, her left arm would have extended to her side and her right arm forward and down. This type of marble, giallo antico or numidic yellow, was a particular type of yellow marble quarried in ancient Numidia in North Africa.
