Made from pale green colored glass, it is free blown in the form of a pig skin, the body is characterized by its "tied"-fore and hind-legs each extending to a point, the neck with an everted rim, on a flat base, Roman, circa 1st Century AD, a similar flask sold at Christie's auction for more than $8,000, (Christie's June 8 2001, New York, lot 214).
