A wonderful ceremonial pedestal bowl showing great detail. One side is decorated with a face of a human. The reverse is that of a large parrot face. Most likely used by a shaman in preparing hallucinogenic drugs. Esmeraldas region, Ecuador. 300BC/300AD. Upper bowl has been reassembled from several pieces. Measures 6 1/2" tall.
