This is a very unique bronze mace head from ancient Bactria (now the area around afghanistan). It is from the collection of the late John Piscopo and his original tag will stay with the item. This interesting weapon has points or wings on the rear which I have only seen in a few other pieces in private hands. The piece is largely intact. Two of the points have been broken off, apparently in antiquity. This piece weighs 179 grams and measures roughly 9.5 cm along its long axis. This is a great opportunity to own a very rare type of weapon with good provenance.
