This is a very unique little copper or copper-alloy axe head from ancient Persia. It has a slender flat blade and a heavy socket with ridges above and below. There are no signs of repair or restoration to this marvelous little example of ancient weaponry. These little axes are quite rare and would be a great addition to your collection. This one weighs 94 grams and measures just under 10 cm in length.
