This is a very pretty and restful plein air painting of an tree lined winding pathway in either early morning of late afternoon. Eucalyptus trees line the path surrounded by wildflowers and other greenery. The sky features murky blue cloud cover and a dying sun source just at the top of the mountain. The painting is in excellent condition signed in the lower right corner Dan Persinger a contemporary artist who paints in the style of early California artists of great fame. The painting itself measures 20'' high by 16'' wide. It has a 50''s gold and cream frame. This is a good painting to live with that blends well with any decorative style. Although he also paints still life and floral subjects, his passion and focus lies primarily with landscapes. His favorite subjects are drawn from the areas of Santa Barbara and Ojai, north up the coast, to Morro Bay. Signed lower left.
