These two portraits of New Zealand colonial settlers are recorded at the Turbull Library as being the earliest known works of A.B.Cambridge who had studio in Hereford St., Christchurch in the 1890’s. It is thought the couple were early settlers in the Petone, Lower Hutt area. Artist signed, dated 1872, 28cm x 35cm
