Harper's Weekly Cover, August 16, 1862. Black; cream. Paper. This original engraved cover is marked, "Harpers Weekly, Vol. VI.--No. 294, New York, Saturday, August 16, 1862." The cover has three engravings titled, "John Morgan, The Highwayman Of Kentucky, Aunt Charlotte, and Searching For Rebels In A Cave In Alabama.--Sketched by Mr. Hubner, Third Ohio Volunteers." The Morgan portrait has a description of him and his men titled, "The Bandit Morgan." , Civil War
