Very attractive little painting of an Italian period river scene with hills, buildings and mountains in the background. Actual painting measures 12 cm wide by 8 cm deep (4.3/4 inches by 3.1/4 inches). Unknown dates, but it has the look and feel of a late 19th to early 20th century piece. Framed (later) in a gilded frame with brown matt. Frame has a few areas of wear (mainly in two corners). Painting is in excellent condition. The white marks and indistinct colour in part of the images is just reflection when trying to photograph the painting through the glass.
