This is a lovely oil on canvas board painting of the California desert. It is called ''Edge of the Desert from the San Jacinto Ranch'' by well listed artist Ralph Davison Miller (1858-1945). The painting measures 29'' wide by 19'' high unframed. Framed in a vintage gold and white frame it measures 35'' wide by 25'' high. The painting has deep craquelure consistant with having been hung over a fireplace for many years. It is in other wise good condition. A beautiful late afternoon scenic that shows the desert at rest.
