A wonderful antique Art Deco slip shade chandelier, dating from the 1930s. This six-light chandelier begins with an unusual three-dimensional loop finial, composed of two long ovals, one set inside the other at a 90-degree angle, and both ornamented with leaves and a streamlined groove pattern. The chandelier frame features a fabulous Art Deco design with reeded sides; the slipper shades feature a repetition of the design on the chandelier frame. The chandelier finishes in a round lower shade with a foliate finial. This light fixture is in very good antique condition with no cracks or breaks to the slipper shades, just the expected fleabites and some minor chips around the outer edges (see photos). The chandelier has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. This chandelier is 17 ¾” wide, 19” tall (body only), and 34 ½” long overall.
