Rare antique Japanese bronze calligraphy ink pourer with long spout and large oval handle. The lid has a mythical 'shishi' lion on top. The ink pourer has four leaves; each with raised swirls and hearts on a geometrical thunderbolt diaper background pattern. Lovely. c.1880. (7" x 5") (18cm x 13cm).
