Superb 19th century bronze sculpture depicting Psyche and a cherub. She's holding his bow behind her back as he tries to reach out for it. She is beautifully sculpted as is the cherub. Here Psyche is depicted seminude with her wings. She is holding the cherub's back as he reaches toward her. The patina is a mottled medium gold. This is the sweetest composition of Psyche and a cherub that you may ever hope to find. The sculpture measures 9-1/2 inches high including the 2 inch base. Diameter of the base is 6-1/2 inches.
