Circa 1900 Art Nouveau fireplace mantle, solid oak or ash, large opening, excellent scrolled leaf carvings on molded base, mirror in top with well turned spindles, shaped shelf with turned gallery.

Opening-43.5†tall, 38.5†wide.
Condition – needs finish, this mantle has been stripped and needs final cleaning/finishing,
Missing two spindles (would be appropriate to fill peg holes and use only ten spindles/five each side as in photos), missing mirror,
Has a bevel cut that originally was fitted to architectural moldings-on each side at back of mantle board,(photo 11). 190
- This is a rare find for an Art Nouveau architectural item and is a high quality well-carved example.
