For sale I have a Doorstop made by the Hubley Manufacturing Company of Lancaster, Pennsylvania. The subject is a Persian Cat or Kitten sitting watching in curiosity. The Doorstop measures approximately 8 7/8" tall and is 6 1/2" long. The depth of the Doorstop is approximately 4 3/4".

Hubley doorstops and toys were mass produced however each item was handpainted to pay attention to the details and this Kitty doesn't fall short of any expectations. She has her Original Paint of Cream with a darker overspray for a nice warm Tan color. She has beautiful Blue Eyes watching attentively with a sparkle in her eyes.

The Doorstop is in Excellent Condition and has most of her Original Paint with no touch ups and very minor paint loss or chipping. She has been gently used and there is one chip of the paint on her nose, cheek and one of her ears. These are very minor and do not detract from this delightful feline. The Cat is signed correctly HUBLEY and 302 which is the model number.

The Doorstop was made Circa 1930-1938.
