A smooth faced Iron with hickory shaft and sheepskin grip by Andrew Forgan of Glasgow. The rear of the club head is stamped with the ‘TREE’ cleek mark and A. FORGAN, GLASGOW.
Andrew Forgan (1846 – 1926) was the younger brother of Robert. He made clubs for a short time using the tree trade mark (1893 – 1897), although he continued in the golf business as a retailer.
