Vintagel Deer Stalking Telescope. This three draw deer stalking telescope has a sliding lens cover, a built in slide cover for the eyepiece, its original blued finish on the brass and the original leather pigskin grip. The telescope comes with its original leather case with shoulder strap and also has the lens cap attached to a length of cord to prevent its loss. The barrel is marked ‘The Ideal, J.H.Steward Ltd. 406 Strand, London". Internally the sight and magnification are great, and externally the condition of the telescope is excellent. It is made to a high quality and would be great for any number of out door pursuits, such as huntings, shootings, deer stalking or bird watching.Circa: 1940
