These were popular in the early 1960’s. They came as a handy craft kit. The kit was composed of a metal bowl/tray, a bag of tile bits and a bag of powdered grout. You would arrange the bits of tile in the recessed plate then mix water in the grout and work it into the crevices between the tiles. The end product was a unique mosaic bowl/plate for the coffee table! Well, here is one! Perfect condition minus some base wear. About 8 ¾” wide. Great 60’s retro piece!!!
