This tray is Chinese black lacquer, with beautiful gold chinoisierie pagodas, bridge, figures and trees. The tray is a beautiful scalloped shape. This is a 19th century Oriental tray made for the French or English market. It is a diminutive size and would make an impressive focal point as a hanging piece of art or would be the perfect tray for a custom made coffee table.
