The watch has 3 diamond accents on each side of the watch. The watch is running good and keeps great time. The band measures 7 inches. This will comfortably fit a lady with a 7 inch wrist or smaller. The outside of the dust cover is inscribed "To My Husband Dec 30th 1914 R.A.O." The watch is in excellent condition, has been serviced and cleaned, and keeps excellent time. The movement is inscribed 17 JEWELS LAFORCE ET VALENTINE. The back of the case has a 3 letter monogram, please click enlargements to see the monogram on the back. From the top of the watch ring to the bottom of the watch it measures 2-3/8 inches. The watch has a diameter of 1-3/4 inches. It has a 14k gold watch chain with a swivel. Beautiful antique 14k gold cased lady's Waltham pendant watch. The watch movement reads A. W. W. CO. WALTHAM MASS. The serial number 10751536 indicates this watch was manufactured in 1901. The back of the case has an inscription that reads: To Mother From Gertrude and Barney August 21st 20. It is also inscribed 14k 585 FINE GUARANTEED and underneath that 386376. The watch opens from the front and the movement lifts out on a hinge. The back of the case reads RS on the outside cover. The face of the watch is very beautiful it has a subsidiary second hand dial with each of the hour numbers there is a gold raised porcelain design along with raised gold markers around the face of the watch. This is a rare and beautiful model that measures 1-1/8 inches wide. From the bottom of the watch to the top of the ring it measures 1-5/8 inches. Weight 27.8 grams. From the bottom of the watch case to the top of the watch ring it measures 2 1/4 inches. Weight 53 grams. The serial # 4876944 indicates this watch was made circa 1890. The case is signed and numbered. The cartouche on the front has the monogram letters LAP. This could be polished out and left blank or new letters could be added. We just got this watch back from our expert watch maker who cleaned and serviced the watch. It runs great and keeps perfect time. One of the really unusual features of this pendant watch is the beautiful face. It has a subsidiary second hand dial with raised gold porcelain markings in between the numbers. It also has 5 minute markers and a gold hour and minute hand. The front of the case has a beautiful hand engraved bird with flowers and a shield shaped cartouche with a letter 'a'. The back of the case has two birds with high relief sculptured flowers and a beautiful detailed design. The watch weighs 29.9 grams. From the bottom of the case to the top of the watch ring it measures 1-3/4 inches. From side to side across the top it measures 1-1/4 inches.
