These are 100 matching fantastic antique door backplates, old new stock, in a rare “Winton” pattern. These circa 1930’s doorplates are in mint condition and have never been used. These door plates feature an unusual elongated shape with a fabulous two-tone finish described on the box as “dull bronze.” Each pair comes complete in its original wrapping paper, with a little packet of screws. This is a rare hardware design – we have never seen it before. The plates are in mint condition; each plate measures 8 ½” long and 1 3/8” wide. These are eight matching antique door hardware sets with doorknobs and matching plates, circa 1910. The doorplates feature a rectangular shape with an arch at the top and bottom; each is ornamented with an elegant Neoclassical volute design, with a raised panel in the middle of the plate. The knobs have a fourfold design with volutes surrounding a raised center. This door hardware is in excellent condition. The door knobs measure 2 ¼” in diameter and 2 ¼” deep; the plates are 2 ½” by 7 ½”. Each hardware set consists of a pair of doorknobs with the connecting rod, screws, and two backplates.
