Circa 1770 Pair of Chinese Export cups decorated in blue and gold border around the top rim and the gold is circled around a american landscape scene that is absolutely beautiful. The blue and white border at the top of the cups is also wonderful. These cups measure 2 3/4" in height and the top opening is 2 5/8" in diameter. One of the cups has lost it's handle but that does not detract from their beauty, All it does is reduce the selling price.   « Less

Circa 1880 Chinese Export Rose Medallion Small cache pot with underplate. This cache pot measures 4 1/2" in diameter and 3 1/4" in height. The underplate measures 4 1/4" in diameter. The flower pot has a hairline about 2" in length. Of course the pot has a whole in the bottom for drainage into the underplate. Other than the hairline their are no other apologies.   « Less

Early 20th Century Rose Medallion six-sided Jardineer and often referred to as a Cache Pot or planter. Very much in demand by decorators for clients to plant various flowers and especially orchids. This one comes with a underplate that is not the original. Finding these with the original underplate, which would have been six sided is rare. This underplate is a eight-sided Rose Medallion Plate Measuring 6 1'4" In Diameter and serves the purpose. The height of the jardineer is 5" and the opening for the plant is also 5". Each piece has the made in china mark which dates them after 1921.   « Less

Along with this bowl is what you might call a underplate BUT It is a Fabulous 9 1/4" Rose Mandarin Shallow Soup Bowl measuring in 1 1/2" in depth. You put these two fabulous pieces together and you have the perfect cache-pot for the lovliest floral combo that a decorator could every come up with for a client. CIRCA 1840-1850 Chinese Export Rippled Edge Serving Piece measuring 11" X 8" In The Celadon Pattern. Quite unusual form that I don't recall having seen in any in any of the other chinese export patterns. Rose Medallion,Rose Mandarin, Blue Canton,1000 Butterfly,Rose Canton, cabbage leaf and a few others that I can not recall at this moment. Actuall this might be a footed fruit bowl as it does resemble a form that I have seen occasionally in rose medallion and rose mandarin. Good Condition with the excerption of rough edges on the rippled edge at the top. No Restoration. There is a china mark on the bottom that usually ages a piece or porcelain to 1890 but that china at the bottom was not done by the maker but probably done by a owner of this piece at one time. The footed bottom measures 6 7/8" X 5". The last two images show the roughness on the rippled edges that I had mentioned earlier. This does not detract from the beauty of this unusual piece.   « Less

Circa 1850 Chinese Export sacred Bird and Butterfly Mug/Tankard measuring 3 3/4" in height and 3" in diameter at the top. This is the first mug in the sacred bird and butterfly pattern that I can remember buying. It recently came out of a collector's estate who had recently passed away. Nice cross strapped handle. Good Condition with no restoration. There is a firing mark or flaw as is shown in a few of the images.
