This is a very adorable 1950''s net wide brim hat with polka dots a rayon bow and velvet flowers. It is an estate piece worn for the ground breaking ceremony for Cedars Sinai Hospital by the wife of a Los Angeles Doctor. The hat is in good vintage condition and measures 16'' wide with the bow extending another 2''. The velvet dark pink flowers may or may not be original to the hat but are included since they were stored together. The hat is signed Whittall & Shon. This is an imported wool coat with an I Magnin label. It is from a family estate I am working on and it would have been from the 1960-1970''s. The coat measures 39'' long, 17'' across the shoulder and 24'' long sleeves. It is in very good condition plus it is fully lined. The beads are an overall pattern of four cornered seed bead lines with black large glass square beaded centers. The coat has not been cleaned and has some spots that I believe will come out with professional cleaning. A few of the center beads are missing in the back and some need to be tightened. It is a lovely coat worn many times for the French winters by an LA doctor''s wife. Please ask questions before you bid, as I consider all sales as final. This is a German paper chromolithograph fan from 1908 that was custom framed by California artist Venetia Thompson for me in the 1990 s. We have used all vintage materials in the mat and trim. Materials include purple silk, green silk velvet,lavender silk lingerie flower and gold bullion trimmed ribbons. The frame which is golden wood was new at the time of framing and shaped in the form of a fan shadowbox.. The piece is in very good condition and will be coming from my house to yours. It was never merchandise in my store. The fan case measures 18'' higby 27'' wide. One paper portion is slightly lifted, noticed by only a trained eye. This is a lovely French handpainted silk lingerie holder that has been custom framed to create a work of art. The gold metal frame measures 18'' high by 15'' wide. This includes a 4'' border of vintage printed French ribbon with a rose pattern. There is a vintage gold braided filet. The piece was put together by Venetia Thompson for Nightingale Antiques in 1990. It was a display piece in my now closed antiques store. I just love the charming little birds and dogwood flowers in the painting which is in very good condition.
