Antique French Chrome Coffee / Tea Set Mercury Glass N Mz Austria Porcelain Antique registered french chrome coffee service for 5. Coffee urn, creamer, sugar bowl, five cups and five saucers. Markings are m z austria depose ff. Coffee urn, sugar bowl and creamer are insulated w m z austria porcelain. See marking on pic 6. M z austria is moritz zdkauer of altrolaus bohemia germany. This particular makers mark was in use from 1909 - 1918. The notation of "depose ff" is registered french. Coffee mugs are mercury glass lined. Also typical german, and from bottom of mugs it does show double wall silver nitrate method for mercury glass typical of the period. Saucers are complete chrome silver. All pieces are in excellent condition with only very minor age appropriate wear. Coffee urn is 9.5" tall and 7' wide at widest point and holds 5 cups easily.
