						Circa 1880. Tall, victorian, mirrored cabinet in solid mahogany. This is one of the most striking and unusual pieces of 19th century american furniture we have ever owned. Very high quality, with exceptionally detailed cabinetry in a deceptively simple design. All the drama of this piece on first viewing is the sheer size. It stands nine feet ( 108&quot;) tall but only 49&quot; wide at the widest point (top of crown). The next thing that you see is the five sections of mirror, perfect for display or books, each with a single large central star, that are flat on the face side but deeply cut in the shape of a starburst from the backside. The cabinet has two doors and two drawers with original brass hardware. The door has a working lock and key. There is a repair on the door which we have made to fill a hole left by an inappropriate piece of hardware that we removed. All of the panels on the front and sides of the cabinet and on the columns that hold the four narrow shelves are an unusual raised panel in what i would call a pyramid shape. This fine piece of antique furniture also retains it's original pine plank back which is finished on the interior of the cabinet the cabinet also has it's original central shelf. Very good over-all condition with some old repairs and restorations, and some unevenness to the moldings around the drawers that could be fixed if desired. We have re-glued and re-polished the entire cabinet so that everything looks and functions well, much better and more even toned in person than the pictures which were difficult to take and light on such a tall, narrow piece of furniture. 108&quot; tall x 46&quot; wide at the base x 26&quot; deep. Price 4800.

						Circa 1890-1910. Rare, rustic smoking stand in the adirondack style. Unusual for all it's detail, this stand is definitely a cut above the crowd, with a covered humidor for cigars or cigarettes, an ashtray, a match holder and striking plate, all surrounding a figure of a moose the body of the stand is beautifully figured, turned wood, with three turned legs, all with the rich patina and glow that is only achieved over the passage of time. The statue of the moose is white metal that has been painted brown with a red mouth and darker brown eyes and hooves. The body of the moose looks as if it has had some touch up painting in the past. Circa 1900. Tall, elegant marble pedestal in a classical taste. This finely grained and colored marble column has all the fine details that are found in the best pieces of this period such as a bold &quot;greek key&quot; pattern and fine turned rings and octagon base all in a deceptively simple marble column. The two large parts are carved twists and the bottom cylinder has deep cut ovals. Estate fresh and in beautiful &quot;as found&quot; condition with no damage or repairs. This late victorian pedestal/plant stand and the other one we have just listed from the same home, both come apart for easier shipping. The low retail price of this fine stand is a reflection of the good price at which we purchased it and not it's fine quality and condition. 38 1/2&quot; tall x 9&quot; square top. Price 700.00

						Circa 1900. Tall, fine marble pedestal in an unusual shape and color. This brown and white marble pedestal is a bit more elaborate than the standard late victorian pedestals we are used to seeing, with the top section in the form of rounded stacked shapes, then a central element that is a ring of carved leaves and grapes under which is a more usual twisted column. The turned base is an octagon with turned rings and deep oval indentations. This fine classical pedestal is estate fresh and in extremely fine original condition with no chips, damages or repairs and only light marking on the top edges from actual use. This pedestal and another that we are listing today, were locally purchased this week at a very reasonable price which is reflected in our low price but which is not a reflection on its high quality and fine original condition. 40&quot; tall x 9&quot; square top. Circa 1940. Bright red, all original, mid-century modern, working cigarette machine. This very collectable vending machine is a prime example of a vending machine from the heyday of vending machines, with eye catching color and stylish graphics. It is in all original, &quot;as found&quot; working condition. The last time this machine was in use, cigarettes were 30 cents a pack this particular machine was manufactured so that it could be used in two distinct ways, first as pictured with the actual machine as the top section and additional storage in the base, and secondly, without the base, as a wall vending machine. It is in over all good condition, with some rings in the paint on the top surface. It is in all original red paint with the word &quot;cigarettes&quot; in raised white letters with the manufacturer's name &quot;du grenier&quot; and haverhill mass. Included in the graphic. <td>
						Circa 1925. Handsome, all original, art deco bar/cocktail cabinet. This fine early 20th century convertible cabinet starts out as a medium sized asian influenced, decorated cabinet and easily unfolds into a very well designed bar. The painted side panels unfold to support the unfolded top, which is a beautiful birds eye maple with an inset of glass on which the drinks can be mixed without damaging the wood. From behind the bar there are sliding glass doors for easy access to the two interior shelves which can also be accessed from the front doors when the cabinet is folded, and a bottom shelf which has insets for liquor bottles. On the door interiors there are brackets for cocktail mixing tools with original pieces. In both design and detail this cabinet is a true master piece of art deco chinoisere. All original hardware, glass and lightly re-polished finish, with original electric for an interior light. The wood is walnut and the floral decoration is hand-painted. The cabinet is in very good condition with only some small losses to the to the paint decoration. The loss to the paint looks much worse in the pictures than on the piece itself and i would say it looks good the way it is. Signed by the english maker, &quot;turnidge&quot;. Closed measurements are 42&quot; tall x 33&quot; wide x 18&quot; deep, open measurements 56&quot; wide x 41&quot; tall. Price 2400.

						<td>
						Circa 1885. Unusually detailed, beautifully carved and gilded, eastlake, aesthetic movement, over-mantel mirror. This large fine mirror is another exceptional example of american victorian architectural detail. Although definitely late 19th century, this gorgeous mirror contains design elements of the earlier rococo style, with flowers, fruits &amp; nuts and large leafy corner elements. Besides all the very fine detail, what really makes this mirror a standout is the fact that all the original gilding and gesso is virtually intact with only about a four inch, half round molding near the top missing gesso and gilding which we can easily fix, if so desired and an old re-gluing of the small top center element which is not noticeable. The mirror glass is also unusual with deep cutting instead of a bevel, which we believe is original as the mirror retains it's original wood back that does not look as if it has ever been touched. The plate is in good old condition with some minor loss to the silver and age appropriate scratches. There is also a one inch mahogany band running on the bottom of the mirror which is either original or many decades old and which we could remove if necessary to make it an inch shorter. This is a spectacular piece on the wall and would be an asset to any fine home or business. 67&acirc;&euro; high x 61&quot; wide x 5&quot; deep at the base. Price 3200.
