This is a nice small sancai glazed tazza cup from the Tang dynasty ((618 – 906 A.D.). The tazza is decorated with small round spots of flower like pattern with three cream spots and a brown dash in the center. The background is glazed in green color. The glaze on the outside of the tazza flows just below the cup, exposing the buff color of the stem and the spread out foot.
There is no repair or restoration, crack, chip or glaze fritting. Some abrasions can be expected. Overall, it is in very good condition.
