An exceptional pair of 19th Century English oil on canvas paintings, depicting a rural farm scene by a river with mountains in the distance. The artist is unknown, as there are no signatures or marks to be seen. We secured this pair from an individual on the East Coast, and had them professionally cleaned and restored. They turned out beautifully, with lots of exquisite detail and use of color. Both trimmed in a carved and giltwood frame that is original to the canvas. These paintings have been preserved well.
