This is a splendid and impressive French tall gilded over mantel mirror from the 19th Century. This mirror features an elaborately carved free standing scrolled cornice, embellished floral garlands and beaded trim. The arched frame flows gracefully across the back. Original glass and quality water gilded patina, c. 1880, in excellent overall condition. Scrolled acanthus leaves as legs. Measuring 43w X 76h. Serious inquiries are welcome.
