Description: A map of Middlesex county in England with plans of the Cities of London and Westminster. There are also drawings of Westminster Cathedral and St. Paul's Cathedral.
Attractively framed in a burl-wood and gold leaf frame. With original color.
Additional Information: John Speed (1552-1629) is one of the most celebrated of British mapmakers due to is production of the widely collected Theatre of the Empire of Great Britaine which had maps based on Saxton and Norden but also included significant original work that was the most accurate of its time.
