Description: The rectangular molded-edge top above a paneled drawer paneled over two drawers each with applied geometric moldings and engraved teardrop brass pulls on bun feet. Feet later.
Provenance: Ex private Flemish Collection purchased from Axel Veervoordt
Additional Information: The design of this chest was inspired by 17th century cabinet makers in the Netherlands. The elaborate mouldings and the exotic woods suggest that it was made for a wealthly client and was a highly regarded piece of furniture.
