This is a wonderful greatly used children's book about going to school which has wonderful illustration all artistically done for that era. It is written to encourage and admonish children about school. Has a wonderful poem that is "I should not like to be a dunce, and never learn to read, So let me fetch my books at once, and no excuses plead." The artistry is so appropriate for children and it depicts what they looked like at that time in history.
