Here is a fantastic gilded mirror made during the second half of the 19th century by the end of the reign of Napoleon III and originally coming from Provence (South of France) as indicated by the impressive pierced carved cartouche depicting olive tree branches and flowers surrounding the central medallion highlighted with a woman face standing upon an intricately embellished frame surrounding the beginning of the 20th century mirror. Note minor scratches here and there due to the age. Circa date 1870. Dimensions: 57 3/8â€(height) x 37 3/8â€(wide)
