This is a very large authentic antique New England SHAKER GREAT WHEEL wood Spinning Wheel, likely circa 19th. Century, in very good condition. The accelerating miner's head may be a Pierce, made in New Hampshire. However, I understand the drive band, quill with pulley and cop, as well as axle pin is missing.

76" from end of wheel to end of base
62.5" tall at top of wheel
