A delightful antique door hardware set with knobs and plates, dating from the early 1900’s. The set includes the doorknobs with the connecting rod and set screws, and a pair of doorplates. The backplates feature an unusual arched shape at the top, with scalloped bottom corners. The door knobs have a graceful sixfold design with an elegant border. This door hardware set is in excellent condition. Each doorknob is 2 ¼” in diameter and 1 7/8” deep; the door plates are 2 ½” by 7 ½”. This hardware can be used with either one of our modern latch sets or an antique mortise lock.
