Here is an extremely rare, blown, black glass serving bottle from the mid 18th century. Nice robust squat form with deep kick-up in base and sand ponti; scar. Tooled pour spout mouth and a beautiful large, bold, scrolled, applied handle. This bottle is a DOUBLE RARITY as it was used as an apothecary bottle and has its original hand painted label “AETHAE”. The letters are readable, but the bottom red shield design is very worn. Beautiful wavy, whittled glass and in absolutely PERFECT condition! About 9 ¼” tall.
