An unusual, large, heavy vase made of red-ware, iron and glass! Tall form with “trumpet” mouth. The top section was hand thrown with the middle made of glass blown in an iron “cage” atop a red-ware base. It has a deep reddish-brown glaze. Original “Made in Philippines” sticker on base. A few minute glaze flakes, otherwise perfect. Probably 1970's vintage. About 12 ½“ tall x 8“ wide.
A large, heavy interesting vase great for parlor or patio.
