ART DECO WHIMSY!

This is a LARGE signed 11" STANGL Pottery SKY BLUE vase flanked on each side by two pelicans perched on each side at the top. The vase's shape is unique with it's three rounded bellies. Circa appears to be post 1935 by the style and Stangl USA 3144 stamp on the bottom. Truly, a very unique, one of a kind piece.

CONDITION: Excellent! This beautiful vase is like new in my opinion. There are no chips or cracks found anywhere to my eye. There are two inherent white marks in the glaze on each side where the color and glaze apparently failed to cover as well as a few brown speckle marks I believe are from manufacture, that add to it's unique appeal and charm. Please see pictures. A unique conversation piece in great condition.

MEASUREMENTS: 11" tall x 6" at the widest. 4" opening at the top. Pelicans stand 4" tall.

As the pictures will confirm, this is a whimsical and fanciful piece both art deco and pelican fanciers are sure to love that will offer many more years of use to enliven any home.
