VERY ANTIQUE KNOWLES, TAYLOR & KNOWLES

This is a beautiful and VERY old, antique, stamped K.T & K Co., Semi Vitreous Porcelain water jug for Knowles, Taylor and Knowles that appears to be from the mid to late 1800's according to the Farm and Dairy website which states, "in 1854, The Knowles, Taylor & Knowles Company was founded in the East Liverpool, Ohio area and produced quantities of hotel ware, such as this, of which a few articles are still to be found in shops, and still in good condition due to its granite ware qualities." CONDITION: Very Good! This water pitcher is in remarkable condition considering it's age and being in use for a century or more without breaks or chips, that I can find. However, there are a couple small hairline cracks around the pour spout, usage stains inside the pitcher, faded gilt and crackle cracks in the glazing in the decorative medallions that contain the words "Water Pitcher". It's always possible to miss something. This is just my honest opinion and impression of this piece. Please see pictures and judge for yourself.
