In the Copador style, El Salvador, ca 550 to 900 AD. Large and vibrant polychrome pottery cylinder decorated in red and black over off-white with image of seated lord, costumed in elaborate dress, large glyph emerging from extended right hand. Band of psuedo-glyphs circle the top and base of the vessel. 6"D x 8"H, filled stress cracks and eroded patches to rear, else intact.
