Antique oversized cast bronze doorknob sets in P. & F. Corbin’s “Leaf” pattern (classification number H-111), dating between 1881 and 1895, with matching roses, keyhole escutcheons, and locks. All these doorknobs feature the larger 2 ½” size usually seen only on exterior doors, and the casting detail is exquisite. The sets were found with Russell & Erwin locks. Each doorknob is 2 ½” in diameter and 2 ¼” deep; the rosettes are 2 ¼” in diameter; and the keyhole covers are 2 ¼” by 1-1/8”. The locks have a 2 ¾” backset; the lock body is 3-3/8” deep and 4 ¼” tall; and the faceplates are approx. 7/8” wide and 6 ¼” long. Each set includes a pair of doorknobs with the connecting spindle, two doorknob escutcheons, two keyhole escutcheons, and one lock (enough hardware for one door). A coordinating Russell & Erwin doorknob set from the same home is also available, item # NDKS105-RW. THE PRICE LISTED IS FOR EACH SET; THERE ARE NOW FOUR SETS AVAILABLE.
