Late 1800's antique four-light wrought iron lantern, originally gas, now wired for electricity. The fixture's understated canopy extends down to a rod with a decorative wrought iron band wrapped around. The charming scalloped roof covers a circular chandelier body made up of four thick vertical bands and two horizontal, all featuring scrolling details with thinner decorative scrolls in between. The light fixture features beautiful hand-riveting and hand-crimping throughout. The light fixture is in very good antique condition; there is a small notch that was cut out of the canopy at some point in the past, as pictured, but it is barely noticeable. The lantern has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. This light fixture measures 14" wide and approximately 31" tall.
