An eastern european medieval knight dagger circa 1190 probably hungarian
With double edged blade with central guard in relief ; guard of the type 2 of Oakeshott classification with straight quillons of globular form . Old's restoration in the guard. Long and straight tang sourmounted by a globular pommel of type R.

note: a similar dagger is now preserved in the National Museum of Budapest Hungary and found in the tomb of Bela III and his wife Anna di Antioch . (1172 - 1196)
This type of daggers was popoular in the XII Century in eastern european country like Hungary and Poland and they usually are known like part of Teutonic Knight's arsenal.
A similar pommel is olso in sword conserved in the Stokholm medieval museum .
