Country of Origin:USA Condition:Mint Year:18931893 25C PR68 Cameo NGC. The frosty devices offer obvious frosty contrast with the deeply mirrored fields. This fully struck Superb Gem has a pristine obverse and the reverse is close to perfection. Both sides present essentially as completely untoned. The production of proofs fell substantially from the 1245 pieces struck in 1892 the first year of the series. Apparently collector interest in the new design was subdued by 1893 as only 792 pieces were issued. Simply stunning quality and eye appeal for a proof Barber Quarter. 2 in 68 none finer at either service.
