Stunning English Walnut Sideboard crafted by Bodart. Bodart specialized in high end reproductions of European furniture during 1949 to 1973. This piece is perfect for serving and displaying. The serving area is doubled with it''s large 14''inch drop leaves. It is very versatile piece as well, one side has a large open shelve for display, and the other side is ideal for storage, with it''s two enclosed cabinets with doors and large dovetailed drawer. On the top of the sideboard a lid lifts up revealing a unique galvanized metal lined ice tray. This is a great feature and quite rare. Beautifully hand carved details adorn this entire piece, with the dark accent lines, that highlights this piece even more. This is a very spectacular, unique, and rare piece, that is in wonderful condition. Some minor wear, nothing structurally wrong, and should last a few more centuries. The measurements are 25''D x 33''W x 28.5''H, with the leaves down and a full 61'' inches wide when the leaves are opened.
