A stunning, rare antique exterior cast bronze door hardware set in P. & F. Corbin’s “Ghent” pattern, featured in the 1905 Corbin catalog. The doorknobs and backplates feature extraordinarily detailed casting, with leaves, scrolls, and a diamond motif. This door hardware is in very good antique condition; there are some minor dents on the edges of the doorknobs (pictured) and some roughness on the edge of the collar on one backplate (pictured). The larger doorplate is 11 3/8” by 3 5/8”; the smaller plate is 8 ½” by 2 3/4”; the larger doorknob is 2 ½” in diameter and 2 ½” deep; the smaller doorknob is 2 ¼” in diameter and 2 ¼” deep. The set includes a pair of knobs with the connecting spindle and set screws, and the two doorplates.
