A very unusual antique two-sided cast bronze personalized name plate dating from the late 1800’s or early 1900’s, printed “Louis Tartack.†This figural name plate features dragons or sea serpents on either side, surrounded by acanthus leaves. Interestingly, the creatures are different on the front and back. The plate features an arch across the top with an egg-and-dart variation border, and has two screw holes at the bottom, presumably for fastening it to a desk. This hardware has a gorgeous patina and measures 15-3/5†wide and 5-1/4†tall.
